As an associate, my employer hosts a program called the 100 Day Dash. Yesterday was the first day of the dash. The entire point of it is to inspire the health of all the associates. If someone wishes to be a part of the dash, they simply pick a team to join and start stepping!

If you don’t know, I purchased a Fitbit One last year and have been wearing and keeping a count of my steps ever since. I find the competitiveness great and it always keeps me moving. I average nine to thirteen thousand steps per day and my daily goal has always been 10,000 per day. Well, now that it’s the start of the Dash, I want to take 1.5 million steps over the course of the next 100 days. That’s an average of 15,000 steps per day – it’ll be a challenge, but as of day one, I’m on the right track! 🙂

How are you challenging yourself to stay active?

  • Great info. I have been on the fence about the FitBit. Sounds like you really like it! Thanks!

    • Hi Sheryl! Thanks for visiting! I absolutely love my FitBit One. I love how it shows you your daily progress with not only steps but also stairs climbed, active minutes, hours of sleep and even food and water intake (and more)! I highly recommend!
