New Years Fireworks

As I was Stumbling posts this week, I literally stumbled upon this post from Into Mind. It’s actually a post from last year of all things with 40 reflective questions about the year gone and 10 questions for the new year. As a wrap up to 2015, I’d like to share my answers to the first 40 questions with you! As for the other 10 questions…well, you’ll just have to wait and see! 🙂 What one event, big or small,… Read more »

Yes, that’s right. The last thing I crossed off my bucket list was tandem skydiving. Here’s what happened… Before, Before… It all started with my birthday. Actually, it started about five weeks prior to my birthday. I was on a run with my other half and we started talking about making plans for my birthday. He asked me what I wanted – and I said, well instead of something, I instead wanted an experience of some sort. In my head,… Read more »

I started in a class of, I believe, 18 kids at St. Joseph Academy in Adrian, Michigan. It was here that I met, Olivia. A dear friend who I still keep in touch with. And you want it even when all of the adults around you say you shouldn’t… Come to think of it, this is probably WHY we want to grow old. Silly rebellious – and stubborn – creatures we are. My other half and I decided to make a trip up to Holland, MI… Read more »

After spending almost 12 days as a traveling duo, my other half and I finally arrived in his home country – Belgium! Upon arrival we hopped straight onto a train headed for Rhode-Saint-Genèse. This is home to his Uncle, Aunt and some of his cousins (his Grandmother was also there for the holidays). As it was Christmas time, we were both thrilled to see family and catch our breath after the whirlwind in London and Paris. The first night we enjoyed dinner… Read more »

Pumpkin

Welcome – and Happy Halloween to you! Just for visiting on this spooky day, you will receive two “treats” of sorts: sunshine in a bottle to use in your daily snippets and a bag of extra marbles in case you misplace (or are spooked out of) yours! First off, you should know that Halloween has never been a giant deal for me. Between growing up in the country (away from trick or treating towns) and being quite shy, Halloween was… Read more »
